i still haven't forgiven him for leaving charlton on my birthday!!
has he really set the world alight at fulham? i'd say he's a bit like dennis, full of skill but doesn't do it enough, and is injury prone and his hearts not in it.
I was a great fan when he was with us but fear that the essentially combative rather than footballing nature of the Championship would not suit him especially at this stage of his career.
I certainly wouldn't label him as another Dennis. Not the most interested or battling of footballers obviously but had natural talent, fantastic vision on the pitch and was a joy to watch (none of which were qualities that Mr Rommedahl possessed IMHO).
That said too many injuries and what appears to be even less of an interest in the beautiful game than he used to have make me think it's got to be a 'no'.
Don't think there's room for both him and Reid in the team, although they could perhaps get their injuries on a rota basis so that that one was always available.

Wages would be the big problem with Jensen, he'd want Prem style wages and we probably can't afford that on a player we can't sell on for a profit and who has such a patchy injury record.
I don't buy this argument that there is no room for skilfull players in the CCC - if anything there is a greater need for them to distinguish yourselves from the dross. A player like Jensen creates his own space no matter how pressed he is & has the vision to openn up defences. If we manage to hang onto or bring in a goalscorer you need a player like Claus supplying him. reid, good as he maybe, is not a shadow of Jensen in terms of ability.
All very well Oakster, there is certainly a place in the CCC for skilful players, but his injury record is very bad and bringing him in would mean that we had TWO injury prone playmakers (Reid being the other) both on very high wages which is something we would be taking a risk in doing. Plus, of course, you have to build the team round Jensen to some extent and have him play behind the front two because he'd find it tough down there in the middle of a midfield two.
What did Jensen say about us? I don't recall that, but probably did not see it because of the timing. I think he was pissed off with playing under Curbs more than anything else.
Class Class Class, as for saying it would be too physical for him in the championship, think that is way off the mark. Players like him win you games especially at that level. Unfortunately cannot see him taking the step down :-(
I loved him as player in his first couple of seasons with us. However I do see him as a luxury and that is something we will not be able to accommodate if we are serious about bouncing back.
He smokes, drinks and carries too much weight for a modern day pro. I do not know hios appearance record for Fulham over the past to years but I would be amazed if has started more than 15 out of their 76 league games. Someone with his injury history is just not worth the high wages he will demand as "Bosman".
So that's a no for me.

So a reluctant no from me.
But time for us to move on, so no.

So no.
Ha!!!! That's quality.
