He won't leave because there will be nobody in the Prem who feckin well wants him, that's why?
He's had two mediocre years with us and a crap two years at Newcastle, he's failed as a Prem class player so why should he think that anyone else will want him?
[cite]Posted By: Ormiston Addick[/cite]Nah, he would surely have the relegation clause too? I think that's standard issue.
Afraid it's not - in a recent interview Varney admitted that if you've been a Prem club for 5+ years and are signing players from other Prem clubs, then it doesn't usually go in. So that's Ambrose, Faye and M Bent at least we could be stuck with on Prem wages - plus a few more I've forgotten.
Relegation from the Premiership hasn't been easy to take and I am totally gutted about it, but we are trying not to be too downhearted. I think there are plenty of reasons to feel optimistic about next season.
In some ways I'm hoping that playing in the Championship might be a good thing for the team, as we have a great chance of chasing some silverware. I know that it's not the Premiership, but the Championship is where we will be playing and if we are in it, we must play to win it. I think we will have a decent chance of going for the title.
I know it's not going to be easy so nothing at all will be taken for granted. We've seen teams struggle like Leeds United before, so it's obvious that it will be difficult. There is no naivety about my optimism, I just feel as if we can do well. We've done pretty well under Alan Pardew so we have to carry that on now. I'm looking forward to giving it a go.
I am happy to stay at Charlton. I love playing in the Premiership and am devastated at losing that chance, but I am determined to get back in the top flight as a Charlton player. I am pretty sure I'll be here next season doing my best to get us straight back up.
I'm flying off to Floriday this week for my wedding! All the arrangements are sorted and we are just packing our bags for the trip. I'm nervous, but I can't wait!
I will be getting married in Clearwater, Florida on May 29th. Wish me luck!

His set pieces are dog shit as well.

LMFAO - that's well out of order but still very, very funny.
Tut tut!
On another note, is it still illegal for a bloke to marry two women?
;-)
He's in the Top 3 gutless/lightweight/waste of space players we've ever had.
Has no heart for a fight at all and another one laughing all the way to the bank...
Big fan of Steps, Judy Garland, Sir Elton and his footballing icon is Justin Fashanu, or so I'm led to understand ;0)
