Can't see Perks in any of these photos. Assume she was still inside filling her face...

She was there sitting next to her husband further to the front in the seats that have been occupied by Miere and Murray for the last couple of games, she was mouthing off to somebody who was chanting and her old man was telling her to ignore it all but she continued anyway.

"This needs to stop right now! I will not allow our flag to be associated with that despicable regime"

Any chance that someone on CL is able to edit pic and replace the lapel badges with a Covered End badge/ Roland Out sticker?

Where do you buy a jacket like that?

How funny would it be, everyone showing up in one.

It did freak me out when I was taking it .

    ;-)
  • Really @Chizz ?
You're flagging me for digging out the bully boy?!
    Get real!

    No, not at all!

The flag was for using a racial epithet. This forum is a great place to discuss, debate and disagree, as mildly, strongly or as offensively as people want. But I don't think there's any need to slip into racially-charged language. We're better than that.

I'm always going to call it out when people step over the line. And, for me, the line is racist name-calling.

    No offence meant.

so you're accusing me of racism? That's some accusation.
By your logic you'd have to flag a fair number of posts relating to the actions of Meire's other security guards. Why haven't you done so?

It's interesting to see that you've posted nothing regarding the events yesterday (on or off the pitch)

I think admin once called you out for posting only to get a rise out of people on here ,so don't go on about this being a great place to share opinion etc etc when you're clearly on here to get on people's nerves.

    You've outdone yourself here...

No. I'm not accusing you of racism. I'm sure that wasn't your intent. And, if you removed that one word, I'd be more than happy to remove the flag.

It's a disgusting word and I hate it. I can't apologise for that.

Call the guy whatever you want. But if you you use a racial epithet, don't be surprised if someone takes exception.

Let's just agree that, if you want to leave that term there, I'll leave the flag. Is that fair?
  • Well done to the protesters and thanks for the photos.
  • That directors box looks a great place to watch a football match!...........The fucking faces on them!!...............They should be as happy as 'pigs in shit' having such a good view and comfortable seat!!!
Keep it up Ladies & Gents.............that was quality yesterday, it MUST be sinking in now that they REALLY are NOT WANTED!
COYR..........great result yesterday as well by the way!
  • Some great photos! Really enjoyed the day and I thought the protest was superb, many thanks to those that organised everything and well done to all those that took part. We will win

Leave the flag there, and I'll leave the post as it was.

Sure. If it's so important for you to use racially provocative epithets, go ahead.

Guys, there's an old saying, 'know your enemy'..... where a fan sits is a matter of personal choice; please do not assume that everyone sitting in the Directors Box are on freebies from 'the regime'. I for one pay the full price for my seat, lounge and car park pass and have done since I left my position as Commercial Director in 2009. Also, contrary to the assertion made in an earlier post, Chris Roberts the former Leader of Greenwich Council, pays full price for his seat. Who do you think is handing out freebies for heaven's sake....most of the people in the seats around me are either season ticket holders or corporate hospitality guests. Unless I'm sitting with the Charlton Athletic Community Trust and its guests in my role as a CACT Ambassador, I sit with or near my former colleagues and Board members, Alwen, Simons, Whitehand, White, Collins, Sumners, Ufton......please stop this aggression towards anyone sitting in the Directors Box, it's very disappointing.

I don't believe there was any aggression towards others in the director's box yesterday. I was in d block right up against the wall next to the directors box. Everything that was shouted from that side was entirely in Katriens direction no one else's...

I agree, but if you choose to sit in the firing line, it's hard to avoid.

Do Alwen, Simons, Whitehand, White, Collins, Sumners, Ufton, Peacock et al, ever have any sort of dialogue with Meire to suggest that they really need to sell up ?

We literally will be down to a few thousand "retired" supporters, the way we are heading, because many are perhaps less inclined to protest. A few years down the line we'll be struggling to get 3,000, if this continues.

Alternatively, perhaps someone can suggest Meire sits elsewhere.

We would be more than happy if she relocates to another area.

She might find Pyongyang more to her liking.

  • As someone who has been involved in match sponsorships and sitting in the directors box I wouldn't give these plums the sort of money they ask to frequent these areas .
Relocate to north lower for £175 if you have to go
