We're playing a considerably stronger side than the ones we've recently dropped points against.
Ricketts in defence, Gadzhev (25 x caps for Bulgaria in midfield, still not 30 - what is he doing at this level?). Ex-Addicks Reid, Tudgay and Sordell.
Tough game.
Think we'll carry on showing tactical limitations and will lose 1-2.
Yeah and I'd add Chris McCann and the other RCC whose meant to be quite decent in bins. Looking at their team on ability alone they really shouldn't be down there. Shame we get them after they've sacked their manager as you feel like if we'd had them before we might be able to catch out a disjointed team. Now, I fear they're do a real break-through performance...
Coventry's issue is they've not found a replacement for the 20-goals that Adam Armstrong got last season whilst on loan from Newcastle, this time last season he was on fire and was the reason they were challenging for promotion
Whatever the result I blame the protesters and anti regime chants for everything that goes wrong and all that goes right is down to the SMT and the apologists
Lets try the 5,3,3 formation. Ref will dose off anyway and it will look like a pitch invasion on tv (still probably wont be enough to get a result knowing our lot)
Great opportunity for Charlton to demonstrate how serious they are about mounting a promotion challenge, as we head into our first relegation 6-pointer of the season.
I am so, so glad the protests are back - I know that the primary aim is to encourage Roland to sell up, but really it's just so nice to be able to turn up at The Valley on a Saturday knowing that I'm not totally reliant on the football to provide entertainment. I haven't read the "Coventry protests" thread in full, but if we're planning to get the match abandoned then lets get it done early and save ourselves from the abject boredom of having to sit through another turgid performance.
Prediction: 0 - 1 (match abandoned after 26 minutes due to alligators on the pitch)
Even we should win this, but that cannot paper over the widening cracks on the field. Another plus of that, aside from the points, would be that the apologists (as opposed to the uninterested) won't be able to claim defeats are just because of protests.
I made a mistake two weeks ago, I didn't check to make sure my son had done his weekend homework until Monday morning, having anticipated his mum would have had him do it as he was with her all weekend.
Last weekend, I did t have his school bag so I texted his mum early Sunday evening to check to make sure they were on it.
I noticed a mistake, I took specific action to ensure it did not happen again.
What specific mistakes have you made Katrien and what actions have you taken to ensure they do not happen again?
The final game of the 09/10 ? Season was one of the best post premier league games. A young Shelvey tearing cov a new a-hole in midfield and a magical last minute goal from Chris Powell!
Finally bought my ticket this evening. It will be an interesting atmosphere in the Lower West, and is not often you can say that.
I hope the atmosphere is good. I get very bored if its quiet. I used to sit in the west stand when I was a kid. But once I was a teenager it's always been North upper for me. Love to let off a bit of steam. I'll be disappointed if I'm the only one standing and singing.
Cannot see us winning this or any other match right now. The protests are so much more important and lets just hope soon they achieve the desired effect. 0-0.

Solly | Bauer | Pearce | Fox
Holmes | Jackson | Ulvestad | Lookman
Ajose | Magennis
Substitutes Bench: Phillips | Teixeira | Lennon | Konsa | Crofts | Foley | Novak
With that team and any other manager, 3-0 Charlton. With the current manager 0-3
We score first, and then seek to "defend"* a lead....
* defend meaning throw away abjectly.
:- )
Gillingham away without a manager
