    CLUB STATEMENT:
    Charlton Athletic are pleased to annouce that Roland Duchatalet has been named as the strongest football club owner in the country.

    The annoucement follows a survey of football clubs by an independent organisation. Katrien Meire, Chief Executive of winners, Charlton Athletic, said "Customers of football clubs up and down the country have voted Mr Duchatalet as the strongest club owner in the country. I have seen the final results and can confirm that Charlton are holding up all the other teams. So that must mean Mr Duchatalet is stronger than anyone else".

    This award has come about because of the hard work by CARD and similar groups. Without the protests, press coverage, hence worldwide exposure to our plight, would have been much lower. There are several bad owners but ours has stood out. Thank you CARD, this is down to you, and I hope Roland mentions this in his acceptance speech!!
