Well I'm blowed Jack Ross gone, never saw that coming..,,,,,,,.next! 😉
    - Of current teams within the top four tiers of English league football, only Liverpool (1) and Manchester City (6) have lost fewer league games (excl. playoffs) than Sunderland (7) since Jack Ross was appointed ahead of 2018-19
    Win 1, lose 1 =3 points
    Draw 2  = 2 points.

    There endeth the lesson.

PS. He lost the biggest one of all. 1-0 after 3 mins & then did feck all.
Yup. Under Ross at Sunderland they drew 27 games, including 20 of them being 1-1.

Just far, far too many draws and for a club that should in theory have walked the league last season and this season, to draw that many is not good enough.

Last season it's all well and good only losing 5 all season, but you can't expect to go up when you win 22 games and draw 19. That's ridiculous.

Under Bowyer he goes for the win in every game and is disappointed in each game we don't, hence why his record is so good. Under Ross, Sunderland were making sure they did not lose first and foremost, that approach doesn't get you anywhere.
  • Its heavily rumoured that Jose Gomes is gonna be sacked by Reading

Mark Hughes favourite to replace him

  • Just looked Gomes up on wikipedia. He's had 13 managerial jobs and the longest he was employed at any of them was 20 months. Nice work if you can get it.

At the time it seemed a weird appointment, but then Reading has been erratically run since Madejski sold the club
  • Reading and Sunderland are bigger clubs than Miiilahhhl so it will be harder for them to get their top man. Surely Pards is a perfect fit for them?
  • You wouldn't want to inflict that twat on anyone......well maybe the Wall.

  • Hartlepool United has today made the decision to terminate the contracts of Craig Hignett and Assistant Manager Ged McNamee.

A more detailed statement will follow this afternoon but suffice to say this incredibly difficult decision has been made with a heavy heart, as both men have worked tirelessly for the Club in the last eighteen months.

Wow.  Dont think the Mackems will like that.
  • Wycombe's next game is in a week's time... versus Sunderland!

Weird that Sunderland are below Wycombe in the table at the moment, but it's a massive leap in the size of the club, and the pressure of the job.
