I cannot reveal my source as I am part of a group of high rollers that wins billions in specialising on "next manager" markets. PM me if you want to be part of the action - there's a small entry fee of £10k (cash only), as a sign of your goodwill and confirmation that your interest is genuine, but which I'm sure you'll understand is small fry compared to the amounts you'll ultimately get back.Henry Irving said:

Grateful to get in on the ground floor of this.2

Inzaghi has left Inter, by mutual agreement. Probably off to Saudi to top up his bank balance.0

For €26m a year tax free I'd go there too. He's quadrupling his Inter salary. The Red Robin said:

He can go there for a couple of years, set himself up for life and then come back to Europe where i'm sure he wouldn't be short of offers.4

Fabregas to Inter is the rumour1

Don't agree to someone having a release clause in his contract then whinge if someone pays the release clause.
And the "Despite signing players/getting staff he wanted..." stuff - he was your manager, that's what every club does?
Schalke is a big club, and if it lets him move closer to family too then good on him. Wish him well and concentrate on getting the next appointment right.0

Slightly odd timing, was there a bust up behind the scenes?
He's done a reasonable job at Boro. I've no idea whether he's over performed with his players, or under performed.0

Nathan Jones loves Parmo so locked on to take the Middlesboro job.7

Been rumoured since the end of the season, feels like a bit of the 'taken us as far as he can' type sacking.MrOneLung said:

Think Carrick will pick up another Championship job pretty easily if he wants to.0

Send Carrick to Cardiff and everyone can shut up about Jones going there...North Lower Neil said:

Carrick was linked with the Spurs job not so long ago...
and I only read an article yesterday suggesting him working with someone like Glenn Hoddle in an advisory capacity.
 I wouldn't put it past Levy.1

Looks like it's going to be Russell Martin at Rangers. That's going to be an interesting one to see if his style of play can translate.0

Rangers appoint Russell Martin on a 3 year deal.1

I really don't understand the outcry at Russell Martin to Rangers. He did very well at MK Dons and Southampton (first season).4

I wonder if Rangers fan will love the idea of Dundee nicking the ball off the "keeper & scoring into an empty net when once again they try to play out from the back.
The guy himself has said there is no plan B.

His style of possession and passing football will work well at a team like Rangers, where they will dominate possession and have better players than nearly all the opposition. The same logic as Kompany going to Bayern.

He was on MNF the other month and they were discussing his playing style, and he said he wished he had not been so rigid and is should have been more flexible when playing higher quality opponents.golfaddick said:

they then went through a couple of the goals they gave away from the back, and he said most of them were individual errors rather than the system. One of them he paused the video, and said 'I showed this exact scenario to the player 3 times during the week, on how - some player I cant remember - was going to press from a certain position, and told them, whatever you do, do not try and pass it into this channel'.
10 minutes into the game, the player pressed from that position, the defence played the ball straight into the channel I told them to avoid and we are 1-0 down due to 'my system'0

BUT if your players aren't good enough to play your system without regularly making individual errors, then surely unless someone gives you £100m to replace half your team, you have to adapt the system to allow for this.MrOneLung said:

It's easy to play the easy on the eye passing style when you have really good players in comparison to everyone else. Ben Garner played some nice stuff at Swindon, but then he had better players than most of the division.3
