Even by Fox's standards that was a monumental fuck up. First time Phillips has touched the ball with his hands. Loads of possession. Lack of edge up front. Central midfield painful. I honestly think we'd be better off if we replaced Crofts with a shirehorse grazing in the centre circle. Slade very low key.
Hard not to be low key when there are 37 people in the ground in a game we've dominated and our strikers have shown themselves to be as useless as tits on a fish.
I'm up in the Lake District doing a bit of fell walking. I did a 8.5 hours walk up to 2800 feet elevation today. I'm totally knackered, my gammy left knee has all but sieized up, my left hip is buggered......
...but I bet I could still outrun our central midfield tonight.
Can't think of anything to add to this thread other than : Many seasons ago on a cold winter's night when as usual we were losing at home in a cup match (can't remember which one) some one called out 'I wish I was at home in the warm watching EastEnders" to which a lady shouted out in response 'So do I and I don't even like EastEnders" Those were the days!
Just got in from visiting my mum in hospital....see we're losing 1-0 at HT...........oh well, same shit different day!!
Hope your mum's ok mate. At least you ain't got to do the match thread
Glad i'm not doing it mate...i cant be blamed!! 0-2 down.....what a f'ing joke. Sadly my mum who is in the final stage of Alzheimer's has now had a stroke.....I was at the QE2 Hospital just 5 min from The Valley..no compunction to go at all. Im back home in Leicestershire now.

Sorry. I'm drunk.
Upholding Charlton cup traditions...
£5 to get in tonight for adults. £10 charge to leave match early though!

Just remind me, please, whose turn is it next? Does Riga get another go or is Carol due a second chance?
We're playing six at the back.
