For Powell to come back the regime would have to admit that their first ever major decision (sacking Powell) was wrong. Forget about this change of manager and focus on a change of owner. New owner will inevitably mean a new manager.
Their second major decision was not keeping Riga on, and he was back a year and a half later! Fraeye sort of left then came back as well...

But no, Powell isn't part of their network.
That's the thing. We finally had a bit of upward momentum after Riga kept us up. But rather than ride that, they once again cocked it up by kicking him out and installing Peeters instead. There is no hope of any prolonged success with these imbeciles in charge.
Sky Sports reporting he could be installed as full time manager early next week.
Really hope that he gets the job, deserves it, knows the players, the club, and finally will have a good attacking squad and a bit of money to work with.
If he gets it, I would expect Derby to push right up the league quickly.

Good luck Chris!
Is bent still there? Managing an old teammate.
He is indeed, been on the bench the last couple. Powell's started Vydra, but their attacking options are very good for the Championship.

Gets my vote.
Mr Bread will at least use his loaf.

Perhaps he could go one better and thump our owner.
