  • Exciting times - Im sure we can collect the rest in the pub tonight!
  • perhaps somebody could pass a bucket around at court number 12 for the last bit...
  • And a big shout to Stuart from Bromley Addicks for being the one who pushed the figure over £10,000.

Well done to Danny and everyone else who's played a part.

    "We've got our Charlton back"
  • well done all. still plenty more to come in. i reckon we can get it up to 11,000 by next week!

    keep badgering people!!!
  • 'Get your Scottish accents ready.....

'and we have raised ten thousand pounds, and we can raise ten thousand more'
  • WELL DONE EVERYONE!!!!!

I still have a few more to come - and I'm pestering everyone I know to donate - so one last push this week people and as Suzi said I'm sure we can aim for £11,000

    xx
  • Does that figure take into account all of JustGivings fee's?

I reckon Jordan is the type of bloke who would chuck in a few quid as well.

Just Giving's fees come out of the Gift Aid 28%

Is that 28% included in the 10k? If not we've raised far more than 10k, if so, less.

    Or am I being retarded.

The headline figure (currently £10,031) is solely the donations - the Gift Aid money is added after.
  • Excellent, so we are way over 10k!

    Great job everyone.
  • Still a fair bit more for my crowd yet at least £500
  • I still have some to collect from my local pub so got a bit more to go.
  • The £10K is just the donated momey...the real total includes the Gift Aid money which is currently £2,293.07, so the real figure is well over £12K.
  • excellent effort by all concerned, roll on Tuesday....
  • It is a magnificent effort so far-

congrats to all those involved in organising- including a very tired looking AFKA!
  • so what's the next target then ?...£13k raised so far (£10696 + £2415.76) and no sign of stopping just yet...i take my hat off to you (or i would if i wore one)...

  • Fantastic effort by all. Reckon we'll do £15k after raffle/ auction / sponsor forms etc

well that optimistic prediction got left behind...£15,989.71 (£12,954.00 + £3,035.71) so far...an incredible effort by all of you...after its all over, perhaps somebody, maybe the club, needs to sit down and think through what has happened here and what the potential and implications are all round...
  • Hate to put a slight dampener on that amount, but the Gift Aid bonus actually works out at about 18% instead of 28 % - that's where Just Giving take their commission.
  • once this has all died down, we will have raised in excess of £20,000, which is a staggering achievment and beyond everyone's wildest imaginations.

Hopefully when everyone sees what good can be done from little committment, this can become an ongoing objective. But we can discuss all this after today.
  • We're still ok to pay through the site after the game right?
