I think Curb-it's friend just got confused. Well, i hope so.
  • I was in the Swan pub for a Boxing Day or New Years game a few years ago (I think the Southampton match that got frozen off at short notice). There was a man, perhaps in his fifties, sat at the bar having a pint with a friend who had the Charlton badge tattooed on one cheek and the circular inner label from a Prince Buster 7" single tattooed on the other cheek. I couldn't make out which single. I've never seen him since, I can't have been the only one to ever see him?

As for Prince Buster himself I always raised a smile whenever I heard Ten Commandments, although probably not politically correct by today's standards.

  • My mate text me to tell me Prince had died.

    FFS... again!

    RIP PB

Shocked. I'm in Jamaica at the moment. Just bought some of his music yesterday from a local market. I'm still a Ska and Blue Beat fanatic.

RIP Prince Buster. :-( One of the best.

Yes. Very confused. BB is alive.
  • Used to have a girlfriend in New cross, surrounded by Ska. Have a love of jazz and I'm sure the free style of Ska influenced me.
