I went along to give moral support to the BFG on what I supposed would be the next leg of his return. That worked out well, then. I switched to watching EK15 - a special talent developing nicely, and fast. Hanlon was also impressive. I left after 62 minutes to avoid further mental punishment from TBBM.
Forgive me, GlassHallfFull, but I don't recognise the shorthand references to BFG, EK15 and TBBM. These need explaining to me in SE13, let alone to our good Lifers in New York, Madrid and San Francisco.
Clem Snide nailed it perfectly with his eye-witness reports from Bury and beyond: "Dross; utter dross." Having watched every first-team home game for six years, I can confirm it. We piss-piddle around, have no physical strength, and lack the slightest flicker of intelligence to nail our opponents.
Lookman! Who cares, apart from the frustrated accountants in Bexleyheath. Against Bolton he came on, tripped over the ball, passed to the opposition, muffed his corner straight at a defender, dribbled around for two seconds, and got lucky.
It's a conceit to think our academy is special. Every single club from Cray Wanderers to Man City has plenty of wingers who do the double step-over. We were relegated because our players and coaches are piss-poor.
Have you noticed that Henderson, our former keeper, lets in three goals in every game at Forest? He must be missing The Valley. Yet, according to folklore, he's one of us! What utter balls. Henderson shed a few tears after our despicable 5-0 collapse at Huddersfield - which he himself and his pathetic team conceded.
Johnny Jackson and Henderson are so thick and spineless that they ganged up on Tony Watt, who has more natural talent than either of them. That's why Watt is now in Europe, and our - Charlton's - next fixture is against Fleetwood.
Tony Watt is not playing in Europe, Hearts were knocked out in the qualifying round. Bless him though getting ganged up on, fancy Jackson and Henderson expecting a professional footballer to act like one. I mean it's not like he has previous for not sticking around for long.

Are you Colin 1961 ? I've missed you .
Predates our old pal Col and posts with a completely different style of nonsense

Congratulations Viewfinder, that is the biggest pile of shit I have seen posted on a Charlton Forum. Let me tell you there has been some competition.
Mainly his other posts
What do you know? None of the kids you coach in Dartford have ever signed for a professional club.
Not sure why he gave the pen - apart from what I've just typed- but great save by Phillips.
I'm not sure what you were watching my friend, but their player struck it wide.
Soton kids played all the football first half & looked far better footballers than us.
2nd half Charlton were the more dominant, but never really looked like scoring.
It looked like about 1500 in attendance with about 250 Soton supporters.
A few beers with my mates, better than staying indoors, but a poor game in a meaningless tournament.
Phillips MOM 8 Made a number of excellent saves & saved 2 pens in the shoot out. Konsa 7 Very good game, very composed, made one bad error dallying with the ball Johnson 6.5 Good game Lennon 7 Very good game, considering he hasn't played for months Fox 6.5 Usual game, decent & passing better than normal (Chicksen 66) 6 Looked decent, but hard to tell on a 30 min performance Solly 7.5 our best outfield player by a mile, possibly because he put in the greatest effort. Crofts 6.5 Foley 4.5 Apologies, but a total waste of a midfield position. He passes backwards 90% of the time & prevents every attack that we have. I started counting in the 2nd half & he passed it backwards 10 times consecutively and lost the ball on the other occasion. He needs to be dropped. It's not his fault, he's a defensive right back. I thought he'd likely miss the penalty, as he wouldn't be able to pass it backwards. He did miss. Hanlan 6.5 A lot of effort & has potential. Ajose 5 Showed nothing again. His lack of effort all season is really disappointing. Umerah 6 The attack picked up when he replaced Ajose, mainly because he ran the lines & put in twice as much effort. Ahearne-Grant 5.5 Looked out of his depth even against Soton U23's.
