  • Yep 2 of us going up on the 10.03 from Euston

3 of us are booked on that too.

  • Myself @Jack Charlton and his brother will be there
  • I don't get to many games but my eldest daughter lives near Wolverhampton and my youngest daughter is driving me up from Sussex. I had to buy the tickets though or else they wouldn't have bothered!
  • Train related question.

If you buy 4 tickets in a group travel deal on Virgin and only two of you can make it. Would that make the ticket still valid.

I don't think it would be but just wondering.

On the ticket it states what number they are. I.E 1/4, 2/4 etc.

You have paid for four so can't imagine it'd be a problem.

Take all four just incase and say the other two are in toilet/ getting a drink/ having a toot etc
  • I'll be there.
  • I'll be there.

    Just call my name and
  • Just be careful at Walsall I was having a pee at half time and got chucked out by a steward for smoking. I DON'T EVEN BLOODY SMOKE . That honest.

Must of been the same steward who threw me out at Scunthorpe for smoking I don't smoke either
  • Tried to order three this morning.

Could not navigate the website so will have to pay the extra 3quid on the day.

  • Is anyone now making the trip based on last nights result?

I was already going but I'm looking forward to the game a bit more if I'm honest
  • I booked for myself and two under 18s yesterday through Walsall. They had a deal of one adult and one under 18 for £22 compared to normal price of £35 (20 + 15) on Charlton website. In the end got all three for £32 instead of £50. This deal is only available if booking through Walsall. I thought all supporters had to be offered same deal eg at football for a fiver its away and home fans.

I have spare train tickets if you need.
  • Cyril will be there.

    Nice one Cyril
    Nice one son
    Lets have another one.

    Scunthorpe
  • Has the club said how many tickets have been sold and what the away end at Walsall holds ? The initial allocation was only about 700 or so.

Anyone who wants to go on Saturday should not have a problem, the away end holds 2000. The ground capacity is 11000 odd and their average gate is half that. Tickets bought on the day are subject to a £3 surcharge which is what I shall be doing.

Thanks, I might go and pay on the gate as well

    This site; http://www.footballgroundguide.com/leagues/england/league-one/bescot-banks-stadium-walsall.html#sam-hodgson-neutral-5-10-13
Is pretty good for all you need to know when visiting away grounds. I think I read that there is a 'neutrals' area (comparable to corporate hospitality) as well so IF the away end was full and you didn't want to trust yourself in the home end that's another option.

Was it a really cold day?
  • Myself and three others will be there. First game of the season for me so looking forward to it.
  • Saturday - Northern line

Trains will not run between Hampstead/High Barnet/Mill Hill East and Charing Cross/ Moorgate while we carry out track replacement work at Camden Town.
  • Looking at going here pre match;

Is an excellent choice, can be busy busy

New Street severely updated so unable to explain. It's two minutes from the station but best go on website for better idea.

Walsall supporters club lets away fans in.
  • No need to pay £3 extra on the day, you can order for pickup using 01922 651416 between 09:15 and 16:30 tomorrow.

Mind you, it's obviously not a proper ticket office because you get someone who wants to sell you a ticket, not someone wanting to give you an NHS appointment.

Called a few mins ago. Probably the most efficient ticket purchase for a football match I've ever experienced. Puts out ticket office to shame.
