10-man Cardiff come back to lead 4-3 (Anthony Pilkington hat-trick).
Euell out, close the academy etc, etc...
Revenge for the 5-4 game in 2012
What a game that was!!!
Almost missed that game because I thought we were away @ Cardiff... Was at work and decided to check what other Championship fixtures were on - Think everyone on my floor heard me utter a swear word when I saw we were at home as didnt have my Season Ticket
Had to get the train to Abbey Wood so my Mum could drive down with it... Got straight back on the train and went back to Charlton
Can anyone give a run down on how each of these are coming along?
Jordan Beeney Aaron Barnes Anfernee Dijksteel George Lapslie Ashley Maynard-Brewer Kenneth Yao Dan Bowry Archie Edwards Jo Cummings Taylor Maloney Terrique Anderson Mikhail Kennedy Joshua Umerah Louis-Michel Yamfam Reeco Hackett-Fairchild Ryan Blumberg

Very very brief, and my individual untutored opinion. All in the context of the U23 level.
Jordan Beeney. Decent, shows promise, nothing particular as yet.
Aaron Barnes. Tough tackler, likes to get forward, very bright individual, danger of over exposure too young.
Anfernee Dijksteel. Physically strong, competitive, skilled, has a genuine chance.
George Lapslie. Love him, a team mates dream, would probably develop more by going on loan at this stage.
Ashley Maynard-Brewer. See Beeney confident.
Kenneth Yao. Still some development to come, but there is enough to show some promise.
Dan Bowry. Tall, still some physical development to come, because of his position not yet ready for full on mens football. Wiry.
Archie Edwards. Reminiscent of a young Solly, but his trajectory has not been smooth, still a rather slight build, but definitely a good footballing brain.
Jo Cummings. Big strong defender, signed recently and has adapted to Charlton well, a wait and see player.
Taylor Maloney. Looks rather watery and weak, but don't let that fool you, he is a good player and the potential to be a proper footballer.
Terrique Anderson. Little nippy forward, very eager, and confident in his own ability, still needs development but check out valley pass for his goal against Leeds.
Mikhail Kennedy. Sadly injured. the kind of player who does not dominate yet regularly nicks a goal.
Joshua Umerah. Big and strong forward, would like to see more of him...better than Dodoo IMHO
Louis-Michel Yamfam. Good little player on his day. scores some spectacular goals, and has good close control. scored a screamer against Crystal Palace last season which wasn't put out by the club as far as I can tell.
Reeco Hackett-Fairchild Ask Henry.
Ryan Blumberg. Signed from the Nike academy, big strong defender with a genuine sense of the game and game management, bit early to judge.
You have not included some players like Hanlan and Alfie Doughty. Both players are promising. And there is Charles Cook too to consider too.
Other posters such as bolloxbolder and paddy7 and dickplumb will also have some good insight into these players.
At the game. Strong team. Anderson is in rich form as is Fairchild. Lapslie continues to impress. Lee Bowyer says Lapslie has something of the Scott Parker about him. Blumberg Liverpool injury has cleared. Watford ok but nothing particularly special so far.

@seth plum any idea why page isn't playing? Or Marshall and Reeves?

Lee's just saying what I posted the other day. Hi Lee!
Went. Always in control against a very uninspiring Watford side. Steady performance from everyone with the stand out player being Anderson who made the goal for Grant and scored the other after typically unselfish play from Lapslie, who also impressed.
Robinson and Bowyer in attendance as was Sean Davis the former Fulham player. No idea why Page, Reeves and Marshall didn't play.
Grant is an infuriating player. Needs to keep things simple. He would drive me mad if I played alongside him as he never gets his head up, or sees a pass to someone better placed. Either that or he is just plain selfish and considers himself better than his colleagues. Could learn a lot from the younger but more mature Lapslie in this respect.

To make it with us Dijksteel Maloney and Lapslie
Got a chance Blumberg Umerah Bowry. Would add Regan and Hanlan to the list
Not seen the aussie keeper.
Not going to happen Barnes Kennedy Beeney Edwards Cummings and Yam Fam.
Based on last year only it's a no from me on Hackett Lovechild. Fear Anderson is too small.
No sign of Page, Reeves or Marshall
