I hope my previous posts have not been misleading.
However according to the official club site we have two U21 home games coming up this week.
First of all it is Crewe Alexandra on Tuesday (10th) at Princes Park Dartford with a 1pm kick off.
Then on Friday (13th) we are slated to play Leeds United at the Valley with a 7pm kick off.
It could be an interesting week where we might see some players featuring that we’re less familiar with like Potts, maybe Campbell, maybe even Taylor, maybe more triallists, and of course there could be a peek at the returning Leaburn, and even new boy Dixon.
As we lead up to the Shrewsbury game there is still a lot to interest us coming up this week.
Usually home U21 games are available to Charlton TV subscribers if they can’t make the games.
I will try to get to the game on Friday at least. One U21 game we had at Badgers (CVPM) ground was against Leeds when Bielsa was their manager. There were at least two Leeds sendings off in that game, and their U21 manager on the sidelines made Nathan Jones seem like a Trappist Monk in comparison.
I really like Chris Lock, seems a good coach & communicator
A snippet of information. (From Chris Solly who was interviewed in the Club 1905 lounge prior to the game against Rotherham). Chris Lock is currently away working with the England Elite League Squad (under 20s, I think). So Solly/Jason Pearce will be minding the team for our U21 game on Tuesday.

yeah Lock talked about it in the interview further up the thread, sounded like he applied for that with the support of the club which is great
Charlton's U21s are back in action on Tuesday afternoon when they take on Crewe Alexandra at Princes Park (KO 1pm BST).
Supporters can attend Tuesday's fixture at Princes Park with admission priced at £5 for adults and £3 for concessions, while 2024/25 men's season-ticket holders and Valley Gold members go free.
Thanks for that. Nothing remarkable then, although Sol Loza up from the U18’s to the bench today is of some interest. Casey and M’bick starting ought to worry Crewe.
Comments
Suggests Henry Timmi Davies is one of the trialists
U21s now scored 4 or more goals in each of their four games this season plus a second clean sheet.
Vic Bettinelli is highly rated as an academy keeper coach and is a safe pair of hands.
