Evening all, welcome to the first evening match thread of the season. Can the Addicks bounce back from the opening day defeat at Bury? Where are the new signings promised? Can RS plan our first victory?.....all this and more will be answered over the next few hours!!

    If Lookman had already been "sold" he wouldn't be risked in this---- he may well go before the window closes but the pre sale was bollox

    Pearce dropped/rested after giving away the pen and being out jumped for 2nd goal on Saturday rather than Johnson.

    Wish they would publish the 1-11 in usual way. Can't work out who is playing where. A minor gripe when the club is being destroyed from within but there you have it ;-)

    Hopefully it shows that Johnson is expendable whilst Pearce isnt!!

    Agreed it is frustrating but most clubs seem to do it now by squad numbers, just copying from the team sheets they receive.

    Resting Novak is a good idea IMO, don't want him falling awkwardly hurting his hand more in a cup game at the start of the season.

    Ba must be off to not be included in both games so far.

    Surprised Phillips and Holmes-Dennis is on the bench, but a very defensive bench shows how much we lack in midfield and up front at the moment.

    Glad to see Lookman starting. But a shame that the prick at centre back is there, got to show him as fans what he has done is not on.

    Good luck Konsa and Hanlan making full debuts.

    2-0 win against a side who are struggling for players themselves.

    Got to be, though the way it was tweeted looks like Hanlan out wide and Lookman up front. Surely not.

    Could also be some sort of 4-3-3 with Ajose or Hanlan as the main striker and Holmes part of the midfield 3.

    Rumoured to be going out on loan, probably have to include him because not enough strikers but on the bench for emergency and as soon as a new striker comes in, he will be off

    One is a centre half and the other is a midfielder
