Joshua Buatsi, our light heavyweight boxer-wow, what a performance/KO.

He's ranked 18 in the world and he's just demolished the world number 3.

Just seen the replay of that - absolutely superb performance.

Can't stop watching that three punch combo. Everyone landed with precision and power. Disgusting.

Probably off most people's radars, but I watched the weighlifting last night. Guy from Kazakhstan needed a world record by 4kgs to win gold, and did it. Amazing.he couldn't decide whether to praise Allah on his knees and pointing to the sky, or whether to do a disco dance, so he did both. Pure joy... It was a pleasure to watch

I should add the guy was previously banned for drugs and someone else broke their elbow mid lift. It was good telly. Enjoying the cycling now

Excellent ride by the lads there. Great support for GB too.

Cracking start from Hindes, strong middle lap from Kenny, but absolutely monstrous last lap from Skinner - he was slightly down at the last change, but rinsed the last lap. He even looks a bit like Hoy

I hate the version of God Save the Queen we're using this year. The one in 2012 was poor, but this is even worse!

If I've learnt anything from Hollywood, we're going to win 30-29.

Clearly our rugby players didn't want to hear it again :-)

We looked like we knew we were beaten before it even started. Put so much effort into our tight quarter and semi finals, that we looked totally gone by the time the final started. Fiji were immense though, although 7s is supposedly their national sport so not exactly unexpected.
