  • He still lives in the West Midlands . Coventry will suit him.
  • Good luck Kevin, tried hard just not what we need!
  • Wasn't his fault he was played in midfield too often by Slade - but the fact I am not disapointed syas it all for me.
  • He came, he tried, he left. I wish him the best, unless he ends up at Millwall, of course.
  • Shouldn't be allowed near the midfield but looked a capable right back. There's rumours about us bringing in another RB so makes sense to let him go if that's happening. I don't see Konsa as a RB though so we'll suffer if we don't get cover in there.

Not a surprise seeing that KR hasn't played him at RB when Solly was injured, but I thought he did a reasonable enough job in that position when he played there previously.

I wonder if it was Foley himself who told the club he didn't want to renew, especially with him still living in the midlands
  • Good luck to him useful back up but if we have others coming in then fine, hopefully will pick up another club soon.

Overriding memory of him is sitting at the Pre match Bromley Addicks meeting wondering what the fuck he was doing there, like the rest of us.

  • With no Holmes and no Botaka and solly only just returning from injury we look very short down that right hand side...

    Solly always looks very short...
    Very good!
  • If the rumours are correct we are after Nathan Byrne ! Right back /Wing back covered!

  • Good luck to Foley.

Personally was always surprised at his strange running action, looked like his spine had been welded into a single rod.

Would have been good right back support though. I'm sorry he is leaving.

Was instrumental in the late equaliser by Novak away at Fleetwood, not his fault he was asked by Slade to play in a pedestrian midfield so often. He gave of his best but undoubtably was more comfortable at RB. I wish him well for the future.
  • joined Slade at Coventry
  • Quite a few here assuming that it was Charlton's decision not to retain him until at least the end of the season. Maybe we made him an offer but he could get a better deal (wages, length of contract, first team status) elsewhere.
  • I thought he did alright at RB the few times he played. Not earth shattering but ok. Could have been good cover but doesn't look like Robinson rated him. Onwards and upwards.
  • Another right back is essential. Konsa isn't a full back and unfortunately Solly cannot be relied on to play twice a week.

Although not ideal, Chicksen has filled in at right back before at Brighton.

Also, Page is listed as natural at left and right back on Football Manager.

Rumours also that Sheff Utd are in for him too, so he'd probably choose them if true.

I doubt he got better wages at Coventry.

Born in St Albans & started his career at Spurs. Perhaps the London factor could swing it our way.

I thought Chicksen looked pretty hopeless when he covered at RB for the last few minutes on Monday, they sent over several crosses which he failed to prevent.
