The Unique World Of Charlton Athletic - Number 1626

Not sure if this has been mentioned as not been logged on since the game.

With only a couple of hundred Dutch fans the club decided to close the Jimmy Seed stand and house them in the corner of the West stand, the club decided that they would have a block of seats left blank for segregation purposes.

They had already sold tickets in this area as our group had a 5 tickets. Got to the ground sat down to be told by a steward could not sit there and to move over. It was ok we could sit anywhere. Cue the people turning up and wanting to sit where we moved to. This was repeated with a number of fans. Asked the steward and he had no answer why they did this. Eventually telling us it was for segregation purposes.

Look over to the Dutch fans in their block and then a block of Charlton fans and then an empty block.
