[cite]Posted By: mart77[/cite]how about carlton cole to replace db, danny mills for young and danny murphy for holland!
popular signings with the fans i reckon!
I'd have no problem with Mills and Konchesky at right and left back. I don't recall either of them slagging us off when they left and don't know why either of them got such a hard time whenever they came back. Anyone know?
Konch is an idiot, thinks he is better than he is! Let him rot at the whammies imo, as thatcher is much hbetter bet! HH will go hopefully, and then we can go get Chris back. He belongs at charlton, i'd love them to give him a job in some capacity.

An idiot he may be, but under Pardew he was also a pretty good left back.
Nah man, you ask any west ham, he was great foir the first 10 games cos westhams his team, then after that he was just the same as normal konch! Mortain will tell ya, he aint that good! And also at westham away i gave him some stick, and the cheeky get gave me the w@nker sign lol!!

I'd like Pards to put an arm round Konch and tell him that he is not a left back but could be a damn good midfield player and get him here on that basis.
Konch always gave 100% despite whatever unrest was going on behind the scenes and we need hard working players to get us out of the Championship.
As for Sir Chris I'd love to see him back ,maybe helping Gritty with the youth. What an inspiration and example for the young lads.
I reckon he would still be god enough to keep Thatcher on his toes too. I'm assuming Hermann is gone.
No ex players to play please!!! their ex for a reason. Sir chris may be a great bloke and an asset to the academy but for fcuk!!!! besides i thought towards the end of the season with our new passionate fans players and management we were finally losing our poxy "arrr they are a nice little club" image!!!!

Spot on mate, i thought we had a new dicks in his first dozen or so games, had a flying start for us.
Shite now though.

Might be shite, but he has just become an instant legend in my eyes now. Hope he mumbled "ginger bearded w*nker while doing it too!!
hes a c... when he celebrated a goal against us at west ham away he ran along in front of our fans with his ear cupped his hand giving it the biggun. muggy lil prick

still... would have him back lol
Easy boat - "c" word could do with a bit of disguising!
I'd have Konkers back at centre-mid, but not left back.
My hope is that Thatcher will stay as he was a big plus for us in the few games before injury and suspensions etc.
As regards Chris Powell, as far as I'm concerned, he can pull on a Charlton 1st team shirt any time he damned well pleases. A top man and a great asset to any club.
I remember when Watford came to the Valley, although he was keen to acknowledge the Valley support, the first thing he did after the match was to go over to the Watford fans to applaud their efforts. There are so many people in football who could learn a great deal from the one and only Chrissy Powell.

A very useful squad player methinks. Also would be a good influence around the place.
Go get him Pards!
But talking of former players I'd welcome back who could do a job in this division ... Carlton Cole
popular signings with the fans i reckon!
If we lose Thatcher or HH then get him in. Otherwise, nah!

Wouldn't want Murphy back though, he's a w***er!!

That's a classic MCS, lol!!!

I intend to watch the games and have a beer or 2.
I think Dad may come along, but i dunno about his wallet!
