Educational thread this one. Duchatelet is conclusively evidenced as being a far worse owner than Glickstein. Its by a clear knockout, no contest.
Or just a fact that people have clearer memories of recent years rather than what happened 30-40 years ago.
Even I struggle to remember what happened only 10-years ago myself
Oi! It's not 30/40 or even 50 years ago that's the problem it's the recent past! However the Douchbag has cured me of short term memory loss, the worst owner by miles

I still remember classic games and great victories. The many Charlton defeats over the last 2 seasons have all blended together. I won't be able to remember too much about them in the future apart from how the general inconsistence, poorness & incoherence of the team / style of play. Watt running through the middle to score, Cousins great goal in front of the South Stand, a couple of Gundmundsson free kicks / long range shots maybe. Too few of positive memories on the pitch (last couple of seasons). Your brain filters out the bad stuff and keeps the good.

No wonder I cannot remember much about Charlton over the last few years
Duchatelet hands down and he hasn't finished yet. The Glikstens were fans who actually came to suffer what we had to. Douchebag doesn't even do that. The Glikstens lacked ambition but didn't pretend to have any. Katrien Meire would have us believe we are living through a renaissance of modern football following where short term Coaches, player merry-go-rounds, relegation and national embarrassment are somehow a brave new world instead of chronic mismanagement and the "wasting of the club" to quote an iconic Frenchman who has first hand experience of their gross incompetence.

Roland Duchatelet sells our best players each season.
