Why do people pay such a premium for young English players when major tournaments show our talent up to be shit versus their global counterparts?0
-
Because people think it's important to have "an English/British core," with English players and an English/British manager. League football is very different to international football, especially in Britain. That said, I think the idea of a British core is vastly overrated.DamoNorthStand said:Why do people pay such a premium for young English players when major tournaments show our talent up to be shit versus their global counterparts?
