Your football section's coverage of the local teams continues to impress me. Slades game plan for playing 2 elevens this Saturday seems a bit OTT but given our defence and lightweight attack last season 22 players might just work.

And I love that picture of James Tomkins signing his crystal palace deal. If ever there was a picture for the caption column on here it's that one, the expression on his face is classic for a caption bubble. He looks almost shell shocked to me

That's not the one in my copy of the newspaper. They must have subsequently changed it after going to print, can't think why
