Welling put their squad players/reserves out in the second half, when Slade put out his strongest line up. The Welling back four in the second half looked Ryman League standard, if that, and were run ragged. A big difference in individual quality all over the pitch in the second half, which was reflected in the score.

Muldoon had a good first half, including a great long pass behind the opposition left back to start the move for the first goal. Nice to hear a coach shouting "pass it forward". Too many midfielders pass it backwards "to keep possession" and pass the responsibility for making a forward pass onto a defender. Get your head up and make a forward pass!
