He's gonna run rings around the Portuguese defence...

He won't have the ball mind, but he's definitely going to run rings...

Whats the point putting Church on. They'd be better off playing with 10 men

Both Wales and Portugal will be wearing their away colours for tonight's Euro 2016 semi-final in Lyon.

According to UEFA rules, the 'home' team is usually entitled to wear their first-choice kit in any tie throughout the tournament.

For tonight's match Portugal are on the home side of the draw - meaning that, in normal circumstances, they would be able to play in their predominantly red home kit in Lyon.

However, for this contest, the Portugese first-strip has been deemed to be too close in darkness to Wales' charcoal and lime green away kit, and is considered to be a colour-clash.
Fernando Santos' side will instead be wearing their light green away colours for tonight's semi-final.

On top of that, it is understood Wales' attempts to therefore wear their favoured red home strip have been blocked, although it is not known whether this was by UEFA or Portugal.

Wales were allowed to wear their home kit despite being the designated away team against Russia in the group stages after the Russians agreed to a request from the FAW.

    Thanks. I think.

Mark Bowen is a tad on the boring side.

A member of our 1998 playoff team, so is excused his verbal dullness!

Team that finished third in their group and only won one game in normal time are in the final.

    What a tournament.

Church? Ha ha ha. Hey, if he scores, we can abuse KM for letting him go free. After all, we all wanted him to stay.
Loving the Spanish commentary. 'Simon Church, who hasn't done anything in this game, gives away a needless free kick'.

A true battle between legends: Church vs Ronaldo.

In all seriousness - this is dire. Two very mediocre - perhaps even poor - teams fighting for a place in the final?

Its the curse that afflict Wales. First line team is quite good. I would have fancied Wales with Aaron Ramsey on the pitch to have beaten Portugal. One injury or suspension of a key player, then they are knackered. Bale has dropped back to help midfield and loses attacking impetus. Wales have really missed Ramsey this game.

The suspension rule has to be looked at, as it is one that favours the bigger squads. After the group games, there needs to be another booking allowed before suspension sets in.

Wales can be proud though of getting this far & the wins against Russia & Belgium were terrific.

Bale would fit into the England team well what with most of his second half passing
