Rooney should retire as well and give the new bloke half a chance - hodgson didn't have the balls to drop him and the new bloke shouldn't have to make that decision if Rooney does the honourable thing - has been over rated for ten years now and in that second half he put in the worst midfield performance i have ever seen and still stayed on until 85 mins. It was obvious his legs had gone on 50 mins.9

Our players having lots of ability but lack tactical awareness, lack intelligence and lack the character to play for England in big tournaments. They are the products of the U21 system and are coached by second rate international coaches at that level. Coaches who can't get a job in the league.
