I think they were 'advisers' (whatever that meant) at Clapton Orient which I assume is how they met Jimmy Seed.

I seem to remember reading that somewhere. 'The Jimmy Seed Story' perhaps.

I know Arsenal used Gravesend & Northfleet as a nursery club .
