Makienok plays a regular cameo but can't dislodge Guido Burgstaller as the main forward. Invariably though he comes on and makes an impact and is part of a very useful St Pauli team. Their forward play has been impressive for a couple of seasons now.

I was wrong according to my German cousin. St.Pauli are seen as a community club and set good standards. Therefore I am now a St.Pauli supporter. My mum's family are from Hamburg so I will accept what my cousin has told me.
That's correct. St Pauli area left-wing, inclusive, anti-fascist club, whereas Hamburg SV are seen as right wing. The Hamburg derby is quite tasty, shall we say.

Jatta is an interesting case as he is possibly still under threat of sanction as some people say he is playing under a false-identity (he came to Germany as a refugee). The story has rumbled for well over a year now and doesn't seem to be going away. The newspaper, Sport-Bild, seems particularly keen to keep the story going.
