thought Lloyd Sam and Randolph were outstanding. Sam put in more decent crosses in one game than Romm has in three seasons. Randolph did nothing wrong and got a good hand to the pen. I thought Bougherra had a shaky start but overall had a decent enough game. Were KAK and Diawara two whom Pards was disappointing with attitute wise in training ?
Song was also outstanding and although he missed two sitters ZZ had a better game. To go to Anfield and create nine good chances showed how well we played, shame the finishing wasn't better !. You just know that this team could have done so much better over the whole season and that is the disappointing thing.
The 'atmosphere' at Anfield was appalling. I've heard Highbury noisier that's how bad it was. Could've heard a pin drop for most of the game.
Did also think that some of our songs hardly inspired the team especially first half with Randolph down our end and a chorus of 'One Scotty Carson' broke out although Randolph did get a rousing song at the end. All in all I'm actually glad I went !!

Kak was injured (officially), don't know about Diawara, but it would seem likely.
I pretty much agree with everything else you say. I really enjoyed the day. I thought we made some good noise, (either from standing or seated positions).
All in all it was a good day out.
Does this mean you think Radnolph is now good enough for CCC - or is he still not good enough or eperiened enough
Randolph the red nosed keeper
He's got a very shiny nose
And when he plays for Charlton
He doesnt let in any goals
I thought he had a decent game, pulled off some cracking saves in front of The Kop but Liverpool blasted so many chances up and over the goal which would of obviously tested him more.
I had an absolutely cracking day, shame didnt get home till 1.30 and today will be very unproductive.
What was that card display meant to say?
Well done to everyone for the good natured singing "that's why we're going down" every time we missed and for clapping Fowler. Vince was trying his best to get everyone to stand up and sing. Looked out for the Crown Woods 21s. I saw some young lads about 4 rows from the back over to the left. Maybe it was them.
I had to keep Large Addick and Alex Wright apart when they started their verbal mind games and banter. Large was heard to say "I'd love it if we beat you" ;-)
Randolph - not much to do TBH first save was 35 mins in but it was a good one. Nearly saved the pen as well. Not sure if he always gave his defenders a call but harsh to criticise him on his debut at Anfield when he could not be blamed about either goal.
Sam, skillful, worked hard, always found space and wanted to attack players. A real plus for next year.
Song was given lots of room and looked closer to the player who first came. Still worried that he only plays at his pace and not that of the team or the game but again he is young.
Magic made mistakes and still doesn't look steady IMHO but does have some skill.
D Bent had his best game for ages. Let's hope the goal means an extra few 1,000,000's on his fee if he is sold.
Thatcher - Best of the back four, very solid and aggressive (hard to believe I know but true)
Liverpool were very open and allowed us to play so don't get too carried away. They were poor but there was enough there to think that a similar team with a couple of goal scorers would do well in the Championship.
Glad I went yesterday, nice going to a game of football with the pressure off. Good performance on and off the pitch, at least we cant be accused of not having a sense of humour.
Was going off Song but he had a cracker yesterday, deserved a goal and could of had three. Sam, Zheng and the back five also played well but best player for us by far was Darren Bent, possibly his best ever game for us.
How we didnt win by 2 or 3 astounds me, if we had needed to win that game I would have been fuming.
As for Marcus Bent, throwing his shirt off and running down the tunnel while the rest of the players applauded the travelling support, if I ever see him in a Charlton shirt again, it will be the first time I would have booed on of my own in 22 years of following Charlton, dont think I have ever hated a Charlton player as much as him.
All going to Scunthorpe clap yer hands
*Claps*
Singing "thats why we're going down" was great and VFR got sung a few times on the trot which was brilliant.
That poor scouser to the right of us who left then came back got some abuse but took it all in good humour.
I'd like to know what the Pool fans thought of our support
Considering their next game is the biggest in club football, how bad was the Liverpool support.
We done ourselves proud, there were Pool supporters looking at us with the "why the hell are they so happy, they've just been relegated" look on their faces!
We will be back x
btw, the "we're proud of you" chorus was excellent, as was the morale in the stands, the scousers were totally amazed
And whoever has my two beachballs (one is mickey mouse and the other is bugs bunny) please whisper me so i can give you an address to send them to.
Just turfed out mate no details taken, think he went to sample some of the local boozers judging by the state of him when we finally found him.
Probably not a well man today me thinks!!
Basically I thought it was excellent support, far better than Emirates and Watford. My two lads are totally smitten with away games now. It won't be long before my eldest and his gang go in the North Upper on their own, leaving me in peace on my own with my rug!
Whoever had them Fecking beachball's in the concourse need's shooting lol got one smack in the face.
Would like to give Marcus Bent a smack in the face, chucked his shirt off and ran off, fine example of a T0sser.
Sam looked like he'll be able to tear apart quite a few championship defenses. and it was good to see Holland got a goal, thoroughly deserved after all his hard work all season !
My beachball but not me who booted it at 100mph!!!
Whoever had them Fecking beachball's in the concourse need's shooting lol got one smack in the face.

I hold my hand up and apologise, i did catch it sweetly however your face was not the intended direction, sorry.

Football wise and support wise. Just a shame as above that we can't get all the singers together - would be so much easier for all concerned.
Drank 8 pints of water before and had a sleeping pill before bed - plus no work so I feel fine today hahaha!!!
Well done everyone though - a day like that makes you proud to be Charlton again!
