Lloyd Sam

edited May 2007 in General Charlton
Sounds like he did well today - he has been unlucky not to have played much over the past two or three seasons - especially given the unconvincing performances by Thomas, Ambrose and Rommedahl. Relegation should mean he will get his break next season at last.

  • He was brilliant today. Between him & Randolph for my MOTM. Seeing these two young players seize their opportunity & turn it on at Anfield gives me real hope for next year!!
  • Met him at the sponsors' dinner last week - he is keen as anything to seize his chance next season. A lovely lad - got a broad grin from him when I said we finally had a couple of decent corners after he came on v Spurs.
  • outstanding performance, totally ruined liverpool's fullback and unlike every other winger we've played this season got in cross after cross into decent areas... a definite starter in one of the wing positions next season, especially considering romm will go and someone may come in for one of thomas/ambrose

I thought he was great today. I was very encouraged at his performance. He does at least seem to be up for it when he has played which is more than you can say for a no mark Danish big girls blouse muppet who shall remain nameless.
  • Randolph and Sam looked excellant today on Football First - we could have been 2 or 3-0 up - all points to Pardew doing one hell of a job this week - and he knows exactly who will exit the club in the next couple of months.
