Parking at Liverpool tomorrow?

edited May 2007 in General Charlton
Anyone who is driving up got any idea of parking facilities near the ground? Last time I went I parked in the centre of Liverpool and got a bus.

  • There's a school just off the dual carraigeway near the corner of Stanley Park. You used to be able to park in the car park behind the Anfield Road end (You can park there when Everton are at home) but this is now for members only. The school car park is about £5 - £6, and it can be a bit of a pain getting away, but it's fairly safe. definitely better than street parking.
  • There is a huge car park in the middle of Stanley Park. Very safe & well marshalled. Costs about £5.
  • Dont want to put the mockers on but will be parking on a normal side street tomorrow.

Never had any problems, park the same place for Everton and Liverpool.
  • will drive to Crewe and get into Liverpool from there hassle free

    Cheers chaps. Food for thought.
  • Drove up and parked in a school grounds about 5 mins walk away. Safe and secure and got away easily. Cost £6
  • My mate parked us about 5 minutes away from there, in a side street completely free and came back, hubcabs intact.
