I think the majority still want RD out, but it has to be said, people are protesting for different reasons, and it's possible that some of those reasons are being removed by the (assumed) appointment of an English manager with proper control.
It's not my position, but I absolutely respect those that feel that way. Who are we to tell others how they should feel or act about such things?

Not telling them how they should feel. Just what I feel!!!

Yet your comments in your original post are trying to belittle them. I'm not sure this is useful at all.
A British manager and player linked all in the first week since the summer ended. I know it's just a link but its a step in the right direction if true. Why did this happen? CARD and our amazing support which has made Roland listen and think.
The next step should be to target katrien until she has gone. Roland will be harder to dislodge but if these links are true then it's a major victory in what will be a long war
As far as I see it will still want Roland out as he has mucked up our club over the last two years and destroyed the good name of Charlton throughout the football world.
If we knew for a fact that RD would sell up if we didn't go straight back up first time (which I think may be plausible) would anyone be actively wanting us to lose and not get promoted? Interesting scenario.
We have been insulted, degraded and condescended by this regime. We've been told we come to games hoping our team will fail. We have shouted at them what the problems are and in return have received lengthy presentations on why their plan will work. We have told them and told them. Finally, they get it into their thick skulls that we might be right about a few things. Well whoop-de-doo pass me my the season ticket application form.
Has there been any apology? Has KM - the world's most insulting and disgusting CEO been removed? Have our protests been acknowledged? Have we been promised better things? Was it not only a few weeks ago we were told they don't want to build up expectations?
Thank the Lord they have started to maybe-a little-teeny-tiny-bit listen to us puny-brained, knuckle-dragging peasants.
I would still not call it a step in the right direction. At this point, the only step in the right direction is the one closer to the door.
We have won one battle by getting him to (potentially) appoint a manager with the appropriate league experience.
Next battle is get rid of the CEO.
Final battle is for him to sell up.
Wouldn't go as far to say he has the appropriate league experience as he has only managed in league Two, admittedly he won it but we should be aiming for Championship experienced managers in my opinion. However this is at least a potential improvement.

100%, I hope the plan to get the first home game abandoned if RD is still in charge isn't going to be overturned if things 'look good'.
I'm not one to bear a grudge normally, but I will never forgive Duchatelet for sacking Chris Powell and selling Yann Kermorgant.
There has been too much damage done. All trust has been broken, I doubt it can ever be repaired for the majority of fans. It seems he is prepared to make one last effort to fix the mess he has created, so we are stuck with him for at least one more season.
If Duchatelet manages to re-deploy Meire elsewhere, rebuild the club infrastructure and get Charlton back in the Championship and pushing for the Premier League I will be truly astonished and I will give him due credit for seeing the error of his ways. But I will still never forgive him.
I think this "softening" of attitude to the regime will potentially continue if events show that things are changing and lessons have in fact been learned.
I think that's understandable because we all want what's best for Charlton and want the team to do well again. Any signs of that will be greeted positively.
What's also clear is that the CARD initiative has in no small way impacted this change. The protests must continue but here's the rub. When the change we have been pushing for happens it must be acknowledged.
The protests have to be used constructively. A decent team and manager next season will change the attitude of many. Football fans are often myopic in their views.
CARD need to be aware of this and manage the protest accordingly. Condemning every single thing the regime does even when it does get something right will split the fan base completely.
I don't want to annoy fellow fans, but is there any kind of a narrative going on that can realistically see us starting next season with Katrien as CEO? Beyond a brazen stubborn shameless demonstration of power how can she stay?
Why are so many confident Chris Wilder (IF he takes the job) is the answer to our problems? He has no experience of League One, only League Two. I thought everyone wanted an English manager with Championship experience? If expectations are lowered then RD has won. The least he can do is sack KM and offer an apology for all his mistakes. If that is not done I hope protests continue.

My view is although I am 100% behind the protests and don't see any way we can ever move forward with regime, I'm totally bored of all the protests and long for the day when I can just go an enjoy a game of football again.
If we get an English manager who's given his own transfer targets ,I think I'd happen to go and support the team and accept the regime running the club are crap.
It's what happened with Newcastle to certain extent.

Let's wait and see what happens... RD will never get my support, but the team will. That's football you support the team through all storms.

This has to be recognised.

Surely him selling up would result in her leaving anyway, so why would anyone simply prefer her leaving?
