Help:- Lost Purse

my friends elderly mum left her purse on a train from Crayford to New Eltham today (6 May) around 2pm-2:30. The DKNY purse contained approx £100 but more importantly was a gift from her late husband and also had a number of photos of him in it. She is understandably very upset. Please share

Perhaps already done, but surely the train operator's lost property dept. should be the first option?
People really do hand stuff in and train cleaners seem pretty good at this.
I once got an (expensive to replace) car key back which I lost on a tube journey. So there is hope. Good luck.
