I remember in the first season back in the top flight in 86/87 we had to wait until the last game of the season at "home" to QPR(?) to get a penalty. We scored, we won, we ended up in the play-offs.
The next penalty came in the very next game, away to Ipswich in the first leg. Paul Cooper saved it. Didn't do the Tractor Boys any good though!
From 86 to 90 we didn't get one away penalty. I may have made that up.
You are right we did not get a single away penalty during the 1st Division Seasons. Or as Lennie Lawrence put it, the last time we got a penalty away Christ was a Carpenter

I would have imagined Roland would have wanted to take them himself - if he ever got anywhere near the ground on a matchday...
Would have been very possible had he setup his Xbox Kinect to the Stream...
Maybe this is the new idea.
A team of Roger Johnsons are fitted up with a controlling exoskeleton and we set up a new robo-league where talented FIFA 17 players move the team from the Belgian bunker.

It's the new vision of football I tell you.
