I love Jacko, but being determined and being able are two different things. Jacko and the players could show some kind of solidarity with the protests on Saturday. And Riga.
I would like to know from any in the SMT what specifically are the mistakes they think they have made that they continually mention in statements in general terms.
I know this is too late for the podcast but if you get a chance @LouisMend to ask the question at some point that would be brilliant - if the SMT are still talking to you of course.</blockquote
*************************************************************************************** This is such a valid question that it should be explored on another thread unless it is already. The apology for mistakes does not seem to fit at all with the doesn't do failure' mantra espoused by Meire. So , yes, what mistakes do SMT accept and what lessons do they claim to have learnt?
VFF - can you open up this debate elsewhere? or someone point to where it is being discussed
The bit where the guys review our season and talks about the managerial changes - @LouisMend mentions that it is a 'fact' that the club had a statement ready which announced Vignjevic as coach. Interesting, hadn't heard anything as concrete as that before.
Good to hear both Solly & JJ in positive mode. We need to hang onto something. The players are standing up to be counted as they can see an no one else is capable of doing it.
All good sound bytes from Solly but history shows these owners do not sign, or rate players in the mold of Taylor, Morro, Stevens etc.
Interesting times
I thought what Solly said about characters was quite poignant - to me he clearly feels there hasn't been the right characters in this squad.
Bank on Louis I cannot disagree with that, what I was trying to say is I doubt we will see the likes of the characters mentioned above in a red shirt again.
I hope I am wrong but I suspect next years team will be made up of foreign loanees and youngsters most of which we have never heard of.

And Riga.
1hr36 mins for Cousins and Riga's speeches to the dinner.
1hr42 the interviews start off with Cousins.
I'm guessing *no comment*

Sorry the latter is my surname and really hate it when I see the two mixed up as I've seen my surname spelt Stephens in the past
