I'm really surprised that none of the Burnley fans that took the time to join up here have anything to say about one of the biggest games in their history.
Shows the feeling between genuine football fans around the country. Burnley went up in my estimation today. Wish them good luck next year. Well run club
'For the (personal) record, I encountered and spoke to loads of Burnley fans today. Every single one of them were excellent. Interested, supportive, understanding, loving their success (as they absolutely should), not triumphalist, not mean spirited, very friendly, sought me out for handshakes, and a genuine fellow feeling as supporters.
30 years ago Burnley were one match away from going out of the league, they get it, and all that I met today, young and old, they get our situation.
From what I experienced today the Burnley fans were pretty classy, and it was unforced and genuine class too.'
I really used to love the rivalry with other fans back in the day but I think I like the Brighton/Burney fans helping us even more. Love this Football Family thing. Come on Man Utd, though!
We had loads of Burnley in the lower west, 'legit' ones allowed behind their dugout with stewards and loads more trying hard to not cheer when the goals went in.
We had some blue bib tosser try and throw his weight around and have them kicked out and our normal steward and all the Charlton including us told blue bib to leave them alone or we would jointly kick off. He bottled it.
One or two got moved but mostly they all got to see their team win the championship even if it was in the home end which would have been much less good experience for them.
Had a stroll up the left wing after the game and met a Burnley supporting work colleague in the penalty area for an after match chat, while the sofa was being dis-embowled at the other end of the pitch. Surreal. They all enjoyed the Liar banner.
They were quality . Especially the few I spoke to on the pitch. One said to me " You are too big a club to be in League one . I hope you are back soon". #FootballFamily

We are not millwall, you'll get a decent debate about exactly why we've been driven to do what we do.
Here seems more appropriate.

Had no issues with them at all.
