I heard a rumour that the CARD ringleaders are actually on holiday for the week. Not sure whether there's anything in that, but let's be honest... poor timing to be jetting off at the business end of the season!!!
Hope not. It's a day for the Upbeats - not another show of petulance to detract from the real stars of tomorrow
Whatever protests are planned I'm certain they will not cut across the Upbetas.
There has already been protests this season on the same day we have had a minutes slience for Remeberance Sunday, the annual minutes applause and Graham Moore (which the club then went and messed up and disrespected).
At no point did the protest interfer with these other events, and I have no doubt all supporters will cheer the Upbeats when they appear tomorrow same as they always do
Not to mention the effort that a lot on here and elsewhere are making on behalf of fundraising for and supporting the Upbeats, that are also actively involved in planning and supporting the protests to remove Roland.
3 home games left to make our feelings known. Loud and proud tomorrow. With regards to the Upbeats, people will be respectful when they appear on the pitch.
Any protest will have zero effect on the rightful praise that will be shown to the Upbeats, to suggest in any way the contrary is quite insulting to both them and the wider support base.
There will be plenty of black and white scarves on the march I am sure and with only three home games left to reinforce our dissatisfaction with the way the club is run and heading on and off the field there can be no let up.
Although there are a number of supporters who, for their own reasons, do not feel alienated and fed up with the current ownership, they are no longer in the majority and shouldn't expect anything less from the fanbase to show its displeasure.
Tomorrow is about the upbeats, on that we all agree, it is not about using the upbeats as a reason to silence the majority of the clubs active support.
I feel I understand the meaning of the word and I'm going all out to stick my tongue out at my parents, stay up past my bed time and generally annoy anyone who I think has any interest in a deliberately childish way.
*blows raspberry and makes farting noises @Swisdom*
So CARD not protesting in ground tomorrow so why is any one going? Merchandise boycott irrelevant if no one went.
Brings a benefit all of its own ...they still spent money on 'barricading' the back of the West Stand, they still pay for extra security ...and yet we won't be there ...or will we

Crass comment.
You can do both.
