Just a thought but so far we've had selected fans meetings with Richard and Katrien but as far as I am concerned these meetings are a waste of time because they do not control the club. Can you imagine Murray appointing Guy Luzon or Riga when he was Chairman? Or use the current scouting? Or put a Sofa on the pitch? etc....... It's possible Murray and Katrien may disagree with some of Roland's decisions but as they are employed under him they have to bite their lips!
This is why Roland SHOULD engage with us and not his employees! We might as well have a meeting with the tea lady!

He's deposited a fair amount on the
fanscustomers....Not sure of Murray's status. As a non-executive director is he actually an employee (don't think he actually draws a wage) or does he have some other status. Someone else will know this. Anyway, the consensus appears to be that Murray is keeping his mouth shut in the hope that eventually he can recoup some of his previous investment. If this is the case, and he seems to do/say nothing to disprove it, then he has thrown away years of goodwill and trust on the part of the fans to stake all on the outcome of RDs experiment which has fallen apart before it really got underway with the collapse of FFP in the Championship which was the one of the prime factors underpinning his novel approach. Given his now probable private distaste for what is happening Murray is not doing himself or the club any favours by sticking by this broken ownership regime and it is a puzzle to me that he hasn't sought a way to extricate himself. If he sabotaged the Varney approach by reason of some petty personal differences then he is perhaps not the businessman he would like to be cracked up to be and has potentially missed an opportunity to do well by the club and himself.
I haven't been to a meeting where Murray is present but I understand that he looks uncomfortable whilst not actually saying anything detrimental to the ownership so yes. perhaps a waste of time.
Meire on the other hand is an employee and as CEO is directly responsible for the day-to-day running of Charlton Athletic and she needs to be called to account by whatever legal means necessary. Yes, RD controls the club and the major executive decisions in what we know to be a dictatorial fashion even if it means losing staff who don't go along with his wishes or plans (e.g. Chris Powell, Yann Kermorgant and others on the footballing side and Mel Baroni and others on the non-playing staff). Meire implements RD's policies without question but she cannot escape the consequences of doing so and in any public situation where her stewardship of the club is questioned her response seems to be to dismiss criticism as unhelpful or to grin like some crazed idiot.
Duchatelet shows no sign of wanting to quit and has made it pretty clear by words and actions that he will not engage with the fan-base on the ground but if he has to pull Meire out - which of course he should have done ages ago - then this will be the first step in the collapse of this damaging regime.
How that woman can continue to turn up at The Valley as if everything is ok despite her monumental errors of judgement and catastrophic handling of many functions of the club is beyond me. So, I believe that any and every opportunity to meet with Meire should be taken. Perhaps then one day it will dawn on her that her position is untenable at Charlton - at least for her she has the fall back position of knowing that she will be re-deployed elsewhere in the Duchatelet empire so why not go now?
By the way - the tea lady has probably been outsourced to a Beverage Solutions R Us type consultancy.
She has failed miserably, and like all RD puppets she will be sent to run some Siberian coal mine that he owns.
but not in the eyes of her Boss, the
weird and Unique Roland Duchatelet.
Love is Blind.
There's no fool like an old fool.
His attitude is not unique in football, take a look at Liam Ridgewell:
A footballer who has to hope that in his dotage, after he has lost all the money the people give him on online gambling, that he does not need the ministrations of drones who work in care homes.
The premier league huh?
Gives us Liam, and our very own Philip (who has probably never been photographed wiping his arse with a £20 note), and we are supposed to enjoy fattening up our youngsters for the Premier League. isn't that sweet?
Not to mention that we also know:
a) Bobby Peeters was forced upon Katrien, rumours are she was in tears at his appointment.
b) Katrien had to really fight for the Riga's appointment instead of the Serbian, Duchatelet had supposedly already made the appointment.
c) All Head Coaches come from Roland's network.
However, with the general day to day running I believe that Tony The Testicle has a lot of autonomy - hence scheduling visits to other clubs etc. Whilst Katrien does run things, but on occasion has to allow Roland his input - like the coaching staff decisions.
The real WTF is Murray. His finances are not compatible with the regime's apparent desire to fall down the leagues. His name is now dirt. He's absolutely silent so understands that he shouldn't speak out because no one listens to him anymore. So what's keeping him there?
Those points you mentioned are just rumours we've heard and we don't know if they are true.
On the subject of Murray though, he has a legally binding agreement with the club - stating his money is payable upon return to the Premier League. We know that for sure, that isn't a rumour.
However, the longer Roland is in town the less likely that return looks. Not to mention, his name is now dirt when he doesn't have to stick around any longer - I'm sure his money will be payable regardless of whether he is still an official at the club.
He has no reason to stay here.
Don't care about us having communication with him, I just want him gone.
