Can anyone explain the Frampton game plan to me? Seemed to want Warrington to punch himself out but have they ever watched his fights? I enjoyed watching it but it was an easy decision in the end
I don't think there was a lot more he could have done, I don't think he was waiting for Warrington to punch himself out he threw and landed some lovely punches and took some really heavy work from Warrington and came back. He was not allowed to do what he wanted to do which is total credit to Warrington, Frank Warren has just said that's the best fight he has ever seen in a British ring and for the heart and quality shown by both me he isn't far wrong
I've just seen the KO from the Whyte v Chisora fight, nobody has done that to Chisora. I'm glad I went for the Warrington v Frampton card, money well spent
Oh yeah don't get me wrong I loved watching it but it was a Warrington fight from the first bell. I just don't see the benefit of standing inside and trading with him. Seems to me the way to beat Warrington is movement and making him miss and look silly.
What do we see Warrington doing now, off to the States?
I think the term for us is violent agreement!
Warrington has a lot of the Calzaghes in him, his work rate and sheer volume of punches is pretty overwhelming. Selby is a great counter puncher and an elusive little shit, Frampton is also a class act. Santa Cruz and Russell might offer something a bit different but I can't see a queue of people lining up to fight a man who has just properly dealt with 2 very decent boxers

So how do we think he does against Santa Cruz? I can't see many looking forward to stepping up against Warrington, guy has ridiculous stamina, you have to bring your best to beat him.
Just to go back tonight, does anyone think it'd be any different if McGuigan was still training Frampton?

I think this makes the Santa Cruz or Russell fights the only real way forward
Walsh will be calling him out but there is no value there for josh
Maybe Valdez
All I know is I am going where ever and whoever it is against

Jamie done wonders with Carl mentally , I don’t think you can read anything into Carl’s performance tonight he just faced a warrington in peak condition
Well done Frank Warren, putting on a great main event and getting one over Eddie Hearn. There's only one fight people will remember from last night.
Presumably the one you watched?
All this Hearn (casuals champion) and Warren (boxing boffs champion) is rubbish.
I watched the Whyte fight because I have Sky and not BT but regardless I would’ve watched it anyway. There’s nothing wrong with seeing 2 massive heavyweights going at it.
For what it’s worth I thought it was a cracker but enjoy what you enjoy.

Merry Christmas.
I watched the heavyweights- not least because I had a little wager! Good dust up and didn’t think I would collect. Hopefully Del Boy hangs up his gloves.
I recorded the Warrington fight and will watch it whenever my missus stops dragging me around the bloody shops!

It's not rubbish but maybe more is made of that than is fair. Bear in mind though that is how Hearn sells his shows and the audience he is after.
It was a really sly move he pulled last night and was done with no respect at all for boxing fans. Added to the fact that there is no way Whyte v Chisora is a box office fight, a good match, but never worth a premium payment.

This all day long with the added fuck you to josh and Carl
Warren and Hearn will never agree and will always be at war , I wouldn’t be surprised if Eddie had fingers in the BJS saga that resulted in the fight being pulled
Eddie tried and failed to take the shine off what turned in to the fight of the year and it was a truly epic momentous fight ,
I don’t think I can recall a better fight on British soil and is definitely in the top 10 greatest fights I have ever seen it really was that good
Speaking to Isaac Lowe and some of josh team this morning they are all in shock at how good the fight turned out , and couldn’t believe so many people doubted josh and his ability to deliver
I can’t wait to get back to freedom gym in the newyear and get to see the warrior
Al Haymon and PBC deal with ITV starts in January. 3 year deal, 15 fight cards per year from US and UK. ITV have confirmed shows will feature on ITV 4, ITV 1 and Box Office, depending on each card. Uzcategui v Plant (Jan 13th) and Broner v Pacquiao (Jan 19th) both free to air on itv4
Wouldn’t be surprised if the rumoured DeGale v Eubanks goes ahead on box office as part of this deal. Both guys worked with Al Haymon in the past or still with him.
Great interview with Frampton after fight. I don't think he boxes again.
He will fight again no doubt about it
I hope so one of my favourite boxers. I loved seeing him in Belfast. It's a shame he doesn't appear to have carried his power up with him. Warrington made me a fan last night.
Not sure if anyone listens to the FightTalk Podcast on here but the Christmas Special has Charlton Lifer Lewis Smith on there. Good Podcast that tells it as it is with banter throughout

You have to remember Josh has never ever been down in either amateur or professional career , and he told me himself Carl buzzed him more than once , the loss to Josh although a big one for Carl is not s shock to me Josh is the real deal he may not have the KO power it’s his only chink but he hits hard real bloody hard and if he says Carl hurt him then Carl still carries the power to hurt the majority of that division
Frampton Vs Galahad great fight frampton wins
Frampton Vs Walsh ( if Carl can Gee himself up for it he walks that fight with ease)
Frampton Vs Kiko for the European he wins that fight with ease
Then he gets to go again at world level if he takes any of those three fights
He certainly could do so he was huge at that weight , it’s like Jamie McDonnell walks around at 12 stone most days of the week out of camp drops to 8 stone in camp

Problem with Selby is as good a boxer as he is he is so fucking dull to watch. Don Broadhurst was the same whilst I'm at it Lee Haskins had a style that meant if he was fighting next door I'd go down the pub.
Possibly the worst 12 round fight I ever watched was those two

At the O2 in September 16, the fight immediately before Brook v Golovkin was Haskins v Hall. I was at ringside, and I literally fell asleep it was so boring - seriously, my eldest had to wake me up for Kell's ring walk!
P.S. nothing whatsoever to do with the copious amounts of alcohol I had consumed when drinking continuously from around midday!
Selby Warrington was a decent enough fight I thought. But yeah, he's not exactly prince Naseem.
By the nature of Warrington being involved his fights are rarely dull as he just don't take a backwards step. Selby on the other hand has a nice, purist, fluid, slippery style but is awful to watch

I like Selbys style but I do find him a bit boring to watch as he seems like he can't punch at all. Although that knockout of Stephen Smith years back was quality
