•
[cite]Posted By: Hillsy's Up[/cite]I'm thinking of getting the missus some tickets for this, the only one's they have left are the £31.50 tickets. Are they still ok seats. I have never been to a concert in my life so would they still get a decent view?
The concert is in the "round" so I think you get a pretty decent view from anywhere and as Rothko says all the tickets are the same price - 32-21 the name of the new LP.
• So, instead of City Addicks, I went for the FOURTH time last night, and it was awesome. I'm going to miss having the purple fella up the road. Even missed the start of it because he came on early.

And the third time I went was easily the best gig I've ever been to - managed to get an aftershow ticket off someone who wasn't going, rolled up straight from the pub at 12.15am, Prince came on at 1am and came off at 2.35. I still think I dreamt that.

Never counted myself as a huge Prince fan, but he's fantastic live.

Did anyone else get to go in the end?

Final shows tonight, and they're showing a couple of songs live on Sky News at 8.30pm tonight.

Heh. Got two sets of tickets because they were so well-priced and I was feeling greedy, got the aftershow off someone who couldn't go, and then was persuaded by a mate (who'd seem him twice) that we really should go again. It's been a different show every night.

His hardcore fans are a bit odd, mind, although I chatted with a couple at the aftershow and they were nice people.
• I went and wasn't really sure what to expect, knew a few of the hits but wasn't into him any more than that but must say he is awesome live.

'Turn on the lights, I want to play my guitar'.
• Saw him about a week in. Never been the greatest fan but what an absolute star, you'll be very hard pushed to find a better, more dedicated performer than him. Not only that, his whole band were brilliant, every one of them.

I loved the occasional references to it being real music by real people with real instruments. V.true.
