    I could've sworn he was based on my old PE teacher. He used to tell us he played for Charlton and made over 50 appearances, which was bollocks of course............

    Quite true. I heard many claims, but one was a sports teacher in the rival school in Wath who was adamant. Made me scrutinise the film twice and I was sure he was bullshitting!

    My old PE teacher did play for Charlton,Charlie Revell at Bexleyheath School. Lovely old fella.
