Hull City fans who have fairly recently vilified the owner Assem Allam for wanting to mess with the history of the club by changing the name to Hull City Tigers (and found himself on the wrong end of a massive fan protest into the bargain) have this morning awoken to the following statement from the Club:
The Club are to scrap season tickets and replace these with membership which could save fans up to £282.
THE MEMBERSHIP SCHEME IS ABOUT REWARDING THE SUPPORTERS FOR THEIR FUNDAMENTAL PART IN THIS REMARKABLE (HULL CITY FC) STORY.
At Charlton:
on Monday from we had the bland 'continue to work with the supporters'
on Wednesday we had: all those who stayed away or protested are effectively scum.
So on Friday might we therefore expect a pendulum swing on the lines of the Hull statement?
We all know the answer to that don't we?
