If we can only draw or if we get beat it won't be linked to the home game with Bolton where we was pegged back to a draw after being 2 up or the game against Bristol where we wasn't able to find our high performance levels. It will be coincidence. Every game is deifferent.
This will be the first time in months that I actually care about a match result. It's such a shame that the MacDons Franchise exists, come on Charlton lets take the bastards down with us! 2-1 Charlton.
spoke to someone who was at the MK Dons game on Saturday.
they have a big lad up front who likes to put it about and he apparently gave Onuoha and Angella a torrid time.
this must be Alex Revell on loan from Cardiff where he was a 'luxury' to put it politely .. Russell Slade has a 'thing' about Revell ever since his Wembley wonder goal for Rotherham helped to beat Slade's Orient side 2 years ago .. Slade signed him a s a p and found he'd bought a dud, a hard worker, but still a dud .. I don't think he's scored more than 4 or 5 all season, Leaburn/ Charltonesque ((:>) .. nothing to worry 2 gun Tex (I hope)
It feels like, going back over the last three matches, we've improved match-on-match. Still far from perfect, and sounds like we're still a team learning each other and the system, but if we can continue the improvement we should just about have too much up front for MK Dons.
I'm not always the biggest fan of straight 4-4-2, but I'd start that way tomorrow. Even if Alou is fit, I wouldn't risk him from the start, give Diego a chance against his former team. Sit him and Jordan a little deeper in central midfield, JBG and Callum on the wings, and Big Mak and Sanogoals up front. The first 10 minutes will be so crucial, and Jose really needs to find a way to get the players up for it and to go right at MK Dons.
I'm nervous and scared but haven't given up hope just yet.
Have to be somewhere in East London before this so looks like I won't make it, first home game I've missed all season, as I am a masochist. Not sure if that means the team will romp home or I dodge a dull 0-0 that confirms what I already suspect regarding the drop. Anyone know what time after kick off they stop letting people in?
The lad can't make a full game at 7.45 kick off because is bed time is still 8, we will make the first half and see one of two things:
MK Dons score off a soft free kick/corner after a bad refereeing decision but otherwise Charlton boss the first half. We have to go. Eventual score 0-3
Charlton come out fighting with massive home support, score two in the first half countered by one back to Franchise due to dodgy defending/Pope error. Spend the last 20 minutes of the half dreading the next two MK goals likely in the first half with Charlton under huge pressure but just holding out.
We have to go.
Eventual result 5-1 Charlton with superb second half performances from Sanogo, suk young, Fanni, Harriott and an amazing Hat trick from big Mak that gets him up to six goals for the season (think big Mak has 3 not 4)

I'm confident someone said you can get in any time, but may need to go to reception.
Anyone heard anything of a young Academy prospect named Lookman??
Scrub that apparently is wrapped up tightly in cotton wool until 1st July. Not sure why???
I think Lookman had success early on because he was an unknown quantity. And he really seemed to thrive when the team sat really deep and then looked to counter. Not many teams are going to give us that, given that we've struggled to break down packed defenses all year, and he needs the game to open up and for there to be space in behind for him to exploit. I wasn't there but it sounds like he struggled at Preston, a team who defend deep. I expect the same from MK Dons on Tuesday.
I think Lookman is a potentially great option off the bench, especially in tight matches where we need a goal and where the opposition defense is tiring. But he is 12 matches in to his professional career. You can't expect him to be brilliant week in and week out from the off. I still fully expect him to play a part and think he could potentially get some really important goals, but he's young, the league is physically demanding. He needs to be used intelligently and I don't think that includes starting against a team with experienced defenders who will probably sit deep and be happy with a point.
Using the official FA definition of a walloping (We score at least four goals and win by a margin of at least three: 4-1, 5-2, 5-0, 6-0, etc), and putting aside FA Cup games against inferior opposition, we haven't given anyone a walloping since we beat Barnsley 6-0 in April 2013.
I'm of the opinion that we don't really do "dishing out wallopings", and are only really due to wallop another team in the same way that we are also due to win the Champions League and provide the England team with three star players to help us win the next World Cup.
One thing that Charlton definitely do "do" is 3-0 defeats. We've managed six this season and an extraordinary 15 in total during the time since we dished out that thrashing to Barnsley.
It's now three games and 17 days since we last lost 3-0, so we're well overdue another one.
Prediction: Charlton Athletic 0 - 3 MK Dons
Last walloping was 4-1 Bristol City at home, at the end of that same Barnsley walloping season!? those were the days
The club announce that Ahmed Kashi is actually dead
And has been mummified and will be returning to hold together the centre of midfield in the absence of Diarra and a poyet who has failed to find form.
With incredible beyond the dead strength and commitment Kashi does well. mascots will be employed to return any lost limbs later to be sewn back and bandaged on. Mascots who have paid for the second or third time may get to keep unnecessary body parts subject to availability and at the clubs discretion.
Mr Murray will provide the clubs discretion after having determined whether any of the parts would be better used in extending his own, well maintained club longevity.

No it's a couple of weeks... How are people forgetting Rotherham.
MKD will park the bus, play for a draw and try to nick a goal. The first goal is vital. Break them down early and the game should open up in our favour. The Valley crowd will be key. Another Bristol City wet blanket type Valley crowd and we lose and are relegated. A Watford last season type Valley crowd and we win and the great escape becomes a possibility.

Henderson and Solly will be missing tomorrow whilst Diarra has an outside chance.

Charlton 0 MK Dons 2
Charlton haven't been very successful against teams that defend.
We'll huff & puff & scrape home 1-0.

0-3 loss
A defeat tonight with Rotherham winning will put us all out of our misery........apart from SeriouslyRed.
