Memories from last night

The choruses of VFR at the end Defoe scored and we hardly noticed.
Seeing Matt Holland drop down when it went to 2-0. He gave his all in that game, and a number of others before that. In with D. Bent, Scotty, he deserves a mention, thanks Matty, I for one hope you stay, feel you can still do something for us now we're down.
One version of VFR half way through the second half got me, I was choked for a line or two by the emotion you could hear in it.
Top performance from the supporters for the whole game.
I don't believe in slagging players off, but there are some players I hope i never see in a Charlton shirt again. Some who seem to think they are better than they really are, and seem to prefer a nightclub to their football club. Lads, you won't be legends in 20 years time and people will go who?
Seeing my boy take it well, and another lad we go with. Disappointed, sad, but still full of pride.
And so onward it goes.
I'm looking forward to next season.

    speaking to a spurs fan who was in the jimmy seed acknowledged our singing at the end and was quite impressed as you can never hear us from that end. this is high praise from him to everyone as he is always very quick to mock us and run us down at any opportunity he can.

    The singing at the end was emotional and i sung my heart out for charllton i sit in the east and never normally does anyone stand up but most of the east was standing up which was very pleasing i am proud to be a charlton fan and will take being relegated on the chin i lovee charlton athletic and we will be straight back up next year dont you worry x

    It was always going to happen so i think people were expecting to sing VFR for the last few minutes

    Proud to be a Charlton Fan and last night i didn't feel sad but so proud of my fellow supporters and my club.WE ARE COMING BACK.NEXT YEAR AND AS CHAMPIONS !!!
