  • Alan Curbishley on Football League Tonight has just said that the fans need to put their differences aside for now, that we need to concentrate on helping the club stay up and demonstrate in the summer (KM will still be at the Valley)

But then again what does he know!!!

He knows FA judging him from his comments. Very disappointing.

Is anyone in a portion to clue him up?

I must admit his comment did come across a little bit glib. The club is completely broken from the top down and sad to say apathy is well and truly settling in.
  • It had been a while since I've got down to the valley and I was fearing a half empty stadium and a very quiet crowd, actually I was pleasantly surprised by the numbers present and how much, for the most part, the crowd got behind the team. Drummers do make so much difference, the majority of the chants were positive. I enjoyed be part of Charlton supporters urging the team on. It was good to see Riga trying to get more noise out of the covered end as well. Some of the 'stand up if' chants were very badly timed but apart from that well done to all in the covered end.
Reading this message board its easy to get the feeling that Charlton supporters are mostly made up of the angry, the cynical and those who choose not to attend, it was good to be a part of the Charlton family of all ages who for whatever reason love their club, and love their club so much they want to fight for it.
