    Chocolate spread and banana.
Maple syrup, blueberries and crispy bacon.

I bloody love pancakes. Had a brilliant time making them with my eldest too.
  • Nutella and fresh cream. I only had one, apparently batter mix is quite fattening!

    Creeeeeeepes

    Reminds of the Kenny Everitt Sid Snott Rocker sketch;
'Some people think my shoes are crepe........but I think they're quite nice really'

Back on thread, just had four, albeit smallish ones
  • The kids are having them at school today........with Maple Syrup

    Bloody Canadians!
  • Speaking as a professional crepe maker who makes em for the French, Nutella with banana and strawberry go the best
  • My daughter loves lemon and sugar pancakes the teenager is all about the Nutella crepes

My two year old threw it across the room whilst hysterical laughing

But how do I tell the wife

    My mum makes em better
  • ....the Yanks always ask for cheese with strawberry jam
  • Cooked them for my wife and daughter but abstained myself.

I hope you're alright mate and didn't have to dash to the loo, only you stopped typing rather abruptly
  • I'm up to 10 in the pancake challenge.

Competing against nobody but myself of course.

Going to have to buy some more sugar tomorrow I expect

Thought you'd have pheasant in yours of choice mate
  • Lemon and sugar is the first and best option.

But squeeze the lemon first then sprinkle the sugar, or the other way round, or doesn't it matter?

    Granulated sugar or caster?

    Rolled up or flat?

Details are important boys and girls.

ps Correct answers are lemon first, granulated sugar (soaks up the lemon nicely), then rolled with a final dash of lemon and sugar on top of the roll.
