"Which ex-charlton player fell through a glass table?"
Cheers.
Yeah it was Fishy, I remember a chat I had with the lovely lady season ticket holder sitting next to me with her son back in the Prem days, she was a nurse down at where the Charlton players took scans. Thought she was joking as to the reason... couldn't quite believe it.
CP 'A goalkeeper turns up at the training ground' that'll be Thuram then, 'And I'm told I need a full back when I have Solly and Wiggins!' That'll be Nego then. I saw both of them make their debuts at Boro and Wigan respectively both not up the required standard and the rest is History.
RD has not had a clue from the off and he'll continue to cause irrepairable damage to our club until he gets tired of the experiment. Fight the good fight people and keep up the pressure on the regime, it's the least we can do. Fear not the worst case scenario, from the ashes the Phoenix will rise COYRs.
Don't know what you lot are all getting so worked up about - he told us all this (apart from the dressing gown bit) a year ago in his interview for Trust News...if only you had bothered to read it ;-)

The problem is, two years on and history is repeating itself.. almost to the day.
- In a relegations scrape - check. - Jose Riga has recently been appointed - check. - We're getting rid of our most threatening attack option... - check. - With poor alternatives... - check.
How on earth does Katrien have the face to front the media and claim we've made an ounce of progress? To an extent, history repeating itself would be better because:
- There wouldn't be a couple of thousand fans protesting after the matches; - We wouldn't have fans being thrown out for voicing their dissatisfaction; - We'd have a team who are together, would fight for eachother and seem like genuine friends; - The long term safety of the club would feel more assured; - We'd have staff who understood the game
I could go on, but you get the message. Katrien, we haven't made progress - we haven't even stagnated; we've regressed.
Player had massive party planned. Team lost to Arsenal on Sat. Team played shit. Manager went mad. All dragged in on sunday morning to watch game back. Player who had party rolled in half cut in his dresssing gown. Got a ten minute bollocking. Got up and walked out
Solly is the last left of those RD labelled not good enough, I'm sure one way or another Chris will get wind of this, perhaps from one of the other (ex) players in that list.
I won't be attending any of our next matches, but if you are. Give him a song, an extra clap and praise. He's an honest pro and would hate for this to affect him if he knows of it. Even if you don't rate him insanely, cast your eyes back to our title winning team under great man management, that's the real Chris.

Any fans who still don't get the protests ought to be strapped in a chair and made to listen to that over and over.
If you read this thread........
Thank You.
We want you back Home.
