  • Our biggest opportunity/ strength might be that Blackburn will be complacent and expect us to roll over.

Of course, we will probably will.
  • I thought Riga might have picked SloJo alongside Tex at CB, if only to talk him through the game.

Great to see Wattokele up front, fingers crossed that TWWW is up for it.

Bit worried where our midfield creativity is going to come from - maybe it's our old friend the diamond, with JBG or even Jacko at the tip of the diamond, with Cousins the sitting DM.

  • To be fair, at least you know we will get commitment from the centre mids, which is the minimum we need to see but haven't always. Bergdich should protect Fox a bit more but that left side looks very weak and with the inexperienced Lennon at left centre back and the leggy Jackson left of centre mid I fear they'll be able to get us down that side all too easily.

Baptism of fire for Teixeira marking Rhodes.

Hopefully we can get on the front foot and stay there negating that vulnerability but I'm not too hopeful.

Scoring first will be massive today.
  • Rhodes and Graham up front... Can see 7 for Blackburn today!

In José we trust, support the team not the regime.. COYR!
  • Roads and parking busier than of late. I expect a good crowd
  • more queues for black and white scarves

Graham's recent scoring record is pretty dire, but if you want to reignite your goal scoring no better team to play against right now.
  • Don't like that 11 at all.

Any idea if the food boycott is being observed ? Thanks for the updates

  • Baptism of fire for Teixeira marking Rhodes.

Rhodes is very good at dragging his marking CB out of position and creating space along the front line.
    I'd give Lennon that job.

And keep Tex in position, keeping the shape.
He'll have his hands full with the more physical Graham.
  • B & W scarves being handed out-:

I didn't mean it offensively ; apologies . I just don't think Harriott played that well under Riga, beyond the 5 goal week

  • Lot of people gathering outside the West stand
  • So back to today's game.... JBG = Gudmunsson, Berg = Bergdich, Tex = Teixeira
  • I'm standing outside the west wondering if we're supposed to start singing...lots of people standing around.
  • Teams announced at The Valley, big cheer for Tony Watt.
  • Superstore virtually empty of customers
  • A sea of black and white scarves and Roland Out stickers in Harvey Gardens
