Forget "supporting the team." Don't be a mug and be manipulated by fears of loyalty, the club's decision-making processes hinder the team far more than your absence will. The only reason Murray gives these kind of statements is to invoke that reaction. Be brave and call their bluff, no business can survive without it's customers, simple fact. Create a genuine fear and you might just get a genuine response.
