Can someone please ask the pertinent question rather than think they are asking it with, "what are the intentions of the owner / the board?" The actual question is around business -
a) is the owner a philanthropist?
b) Does he intend to lose money each year?
c) Assuming the answer to (a) and (b) are "no". Then how does he intend to make money?
Richard Murray says - Financial stability, compete in Championship, and Prem ambitions - those lose the club, therefore owner money. We know that is not his aim.
SO assuming he wants to make money - does he intend to:
d) Sell players every now and then to make profit, and extract that profit from the club?
e) Look to keep the books even and sell the club for more than he paid?
f) Hope that we get promoted by some miracle at some point and then sell?
That will tell us his plans, rather than the open question of his intentions...
